Some ways
you can help

Volunteer your time

Volunteer your time

The dedication and support of our volunteers help us to continue to Improve the Lives of Animals while strengthening the human-animal bond in the community. Our various volunteer positions allow for an opportunity to help animals in need, learn about proper care, and give back to the community in significant ways.

We are very fortunate to have a strong group of volunteers who dedicate their time to us. This means that we don’t always have openings available. We thank you for your patience in this process and welcome and encourage you to apply when positions become available.

We're looking for people to:

Foster an animal in need

Animal fostering volunteers provide long-term care to animals that cannot stay at shelters into their homes to help prepare them for adoption, and are provided with all supplies and veterinary care required until the animals can be brought back to the shelter.

The average time is three to six weeks, but the time commitment varies according to the animal. During that time, the volunteer will be required to bring the animal to a shelter or to an external veterinarian for regular check-ups or vaccine boosters.
