Meet Monaka

Marvellous Monaka will capture your heart!

“Monaka”, the Dragon Ball character, is a very strange looking extraterrestrial, with pointy ears. Our Monaka is very much of this earth with her gorgeous blue eyes and very distinctive markings. She has little in common with the fictional character, other than her rather pointy cute ears. But we’ll guarantee that once you see her, you won’t be able to forget her!

Through no fault of her own, Monaka was surrendered into the care of EHS when her previous owners couldn’t provide a suitable environment for her. New to the shelter setting, she is understandably finding it somewhat overwhelming. Shelter volunteers describe this lovely lady as gentle and sweet. In the past, Monaka was not a fan of children, strangers, loud noises, and sudden movements. Given time to relax, and approached slowly and calmly, Monaka has revealed her affectionate nature. Once you have gained her trust, she is receptive to pets and cuddles, and will approach you for head bonks and to wind herself around your legs. She enjoys being brushed and is even okay with nail trims!

She can be quite lively at times. When she feels secure, she enjoys a good play session, with springs and balls being favourite toys. Monaka also adores her catnip, which brings on a different type of liveliness! Gentle, affectionate, and sweet, Monaka will make a perfect companion.

Monaka is looking for a quiet, adult-only home where she can receive lots of love and attention. She is probably not suited to a household with a dog. We don’t know at this time how she would fare with a feline companion.
