Meet Chloe

Meet Chloe! Chloe is currently being fostered in North York and is looking for her forever home. Chloe’s fosters describe her as an affectionate love bug but will need lots of coaching and reassurance as she does suffer from general anxiety and can display fear-based-aggression, including resource guarding, when in uncomfortable situations.

Chloe has been on prescription medication for her anxiety since before being fostered and remains on the medication which requires weaning off once she’s familiar in her new forever space. She is currently being fostered in a home with two other dogs, and while she is confident within the pack at home, she can be fearful when outdoors and needs a confident, experienced owner. Previous experience with dogs or dogs with anxiety is preferred.

When she’s comfortable, she loves to play with her toys, especially fetch and squeakers, and her tail will wag any time you talk to her or look at her. She is vocal when she plays! Chloe loves her trusted people and will actively seek attention from them. Chloe can be a bit shy with new people, approaching slowly and wanting to get in sniffs. Chloe has met older children (8+) and requires several visits to feel comfortable but will remain wary and careful with sudden movements and loud noises.
